Random urine into Grey – boric acid tube

1 mL aliquot from a well-mixed random sample at 2-8oC or frozen.

Interpretive Data
This assay detects Legionella pneumophila serogroup one (1) antigen. A negative test result does not rule out the possibility of legionella infection due to other serogroups or species of legionella. A positive result may indicate a recent or remote infection with sero group I.
