Separate serum or plasma from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection.

After separation from cells:
Ambient (room temperature): 8 hours; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen (-20o C) Stability: 2 months.
Unacceptable Conditions
EDTA plasma samples, hemolyzed or highly lipemic specimens.
