Specimen Preparation:
Collect: Any body site or fluid (Fresh tissue or body fluid is the preferred specimen typ instead of a swab specimen)
Additional Information:
Sterile container or Eswab, deliver promptly to laboratory at ambient (room temperature) for CSF and at 2-8° C for all other specimen types
