Peripheral Blood: EDTA 3-5 ml preferred (1 mL minimum)

Bone Marrow: EDTA (lavendar top), 1.0 mL aseptically aspirated. Provide Bone marrow smear and CBC resutls with specimen.

Blood: Refrigerate specimen. Stable for 5 days refrigerated.

Bone Marrow Aspirate: Do not expose specimen to formalin or fixatives fumes. Stable for 5 days refrigerated.

Hematologics 5 -7 days upon receipt of specimen
